Pilings

The pilings in Mallows Bay were originally put in place to stop the Ghost Fleet from floating away. Now they serve as a resting place for many birds. Osprey and cormorants often perch on the pilings to look for fish in the water to eat. You might even see a double-crested cormorant drying its wings in the sun. It’s a great place to take pictures!
